How to Check Dear Lottery Result

A step-by-step guide to checking your Nagaland Dear Lottery ticket against the official result.

Check Your Ticket in 4 Steps

  1. Confirm the draw you entered. Tickets are draw-specific: a 1 PM Morning ticket is only valid for the 1 PM draw. The draw name and time are printed on your ticket.
  2. Wait for the result. Results are published about ten minutes after each draw — around 1:10 PM, 6:10 PM and 8:10 PM IST. This site's homepage and the 1 PM, 6 PM and 8 PM pages update automatically.
  3. Match the full ticket number. The first prize goes to one exact ticket number (for example, 96E 14354). Every letter and digit must match — a partial match wins nothing at the first-prize tier. Check the lower prize tiers too: consolation and 2nd–5th prizes use different matching rules published with the official result.
  4. Verify officially, then claim. This website is unofficial. Before claiming, confirm the number against the official draw announcement. To claim, present the original undamaged ticket plus a government photo ID at an authorized claim office (small prizes can usually be claimed from the seller).

Where Do Official Results Appear?

The Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries publishes each draw's result as an official announcement (usually a PDF) naming every winning ticket across all prize tiers. Reputable result websites — including this one — republish the headline numbers for convenience, but the official announcement is the only version that counts for claims.

Keep your ticket safe. Only the original, undamaged ticket can be used to claim a prize. A photo or photocopy is not enough — and never hand your ticket to a stranger who promises to "check it for you".

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Checking the wrong draw: morning, day and evening draws each have their own winning numbers — a 6 PM ticket cannot win the 8 PM draw. Trusting "leaked" numbers: no one can know a result before the draw; anyone selling "confirmed" numbers is running a scam. Paying to claim: legitimate claims never require an advance fee — demands for payment to "release" a prize are fraud.

No online ticket sales. Dear Lottery tickets exist only as paper tickets from authorized sellers. Any website offering to sell you tickets online is fraudulent.
